Sunday, May 18, 10 a.m. – gather at Rhody Parade Staging Area

Join us to finish decorating our vehicle, grabbing a flag or banner, and getting ready to march in Florence’s venerable Rhododendron Parade, which leaves from its 27th and Oak Street staging area (by the middle school) to march a little more than a mile down Highway 101 and into Old Town along Bay Street. Wear your colorful gear. Leis will be supplied.

Monday, June 2, 5:30 p.m., Florence City Hall

Gather for annual Pride Proclamation. PFLAG will provide signs, flags, leis, hats. Rev. Dr. Jennifer Yocum will receive the proclamation. Stay for photos outside the City Hall building, then celebrate afterwards, location TBA

Watch this space for the program, and sign up for participation in Eugene Pride June 28, Oregon Bach Festival’s “Considering Matthew Shepherd” premiering at the Hult Center June 28 at 7:30 p.m. (and where PFLAG Florence will be tabling), and the Yachats La-de-da Parade July 4.

The Oregon Bach Festival will present the premiere of “Considering Matthew Shepherd” and PFLAG Florence will be tabling in the lobby ahead of the event

Friday, July 4, noon, Yachats La-de-da Parade

We’ll depart from Florence from Florence United Methodist Church at 10 a.m. and meet by Yachats Commons to distribute flags, hats and other paraphernalia for the annual parade. The lineup starts at Yachats Presbyterian Church parking lot.
